Precision Performance was establish originally in 1995 in Durban by its current majority member Dean Little shortly after he qualified as a technician, with honours, at L.S.M. Porsche.
Coming from a background of a motor industry family, with his father Mike Little having been in the industry from manufacturing to vehicle retail for some 40 years. Having qualified on performance cars, Dean’s passion was to develop his own niche in the performance enhancement sector.
In order to achieve this with very little financial backing Precision Performance was originally a service centre providing quality service at a reasonable price to selected BMW and Porsche customer.
Over the next few years through quality service, good customer retention and referrals the customer base grew.
In the early 2000’s Dean and his family took the decision to move to Cape Town Dean sold off part of his business and on arrival in the Cape started Precision Performance Cape Town, whilst the two businesses now have no association both are flourishing.
The sale of the Durban operation now gave Dean the opportunity to concentrate on his real passion of performance enhancement of vehicles. However, the companies backbone is still servicing.
Over the past 3 years the company’s entry into the performance sector has established Dean as a knowledgeable and reliable addition to the sector.
The company now manufactures installs and tunes, fabricating many of its own components in house to specific customer requirements, then developing and tuning these on our own dyno.
With this development Dean has decided to go to the next level and has formed a union with Wilco van Niekerk who shares Dean passion for the performance sector, has the qualifications and aspirations.
